Why Choose Camping Cabins?

With the continual rise of the glamping industry, our sister company Arctic Cabins were increasingly approached by campsite owners looking for buildings to help them stand out from the crowd.  We could see the potential in modifying the BBQ Cabin design in order to create cabins that could be slept in. The Camping Cabins brand was born!

 

The Scandinavian Cabins evolved, we replaced the BBQ Grill with a Solar pipe which opened up the circular building to create a brilliant alternative to a Yurt or Bell Tent. We added insulation and partitions for en suite bathrooms or kitchenettes. The cabins have been connected to create bespoke luxury lodges and extended to increase the capacity of the cabins.

 

We didn’t stop there! Increasing demand meant more design options and we extended our services to include Glamping Pod Arches, Timber Shelters, Toilet Blocks, Shower Facilities and Shop/Reception Buildings in addition to the Camping Cabins, Lodges and BBQ huts.

Every component we use in our Camping Cabins are guaranteed for quality and durability. Each building comes with a 10-year workmanship and labour guarantee, plus the guarantees of each individual component or building material included.  It's important to follow the rules and guidelines of how to use and maintain your cabin (emailed to you at time of purchase) as failure to do so will invalidate the guarantee. Below are some typical examples:

  • 10 year guarantee on Composite Pegged Base.
  • 1 year guarantee on Window Frames, Window Glass and Window Furniture (from condensation but excluding all damage at any time).
  • 10 year guarantee on Walls.
  • 10 year guarantee on Roof Shingles and Structure.
  • 4 year guarantee on Base cladding and steps (where fitted).

To build our garden rooms we make use of only the best raw materials and building components, and fully qualified local contractors.

  • Timber: Forest Stewardship Council Approved timber suppliers.
  • Roofing: For sloping roofs we use Kerbit SBS roofing shingles.
  • Doors & Windows: Double glazed, energy efficient uPVC doors and windows for peak energy efficiency.
  • Insulation: High quality silver-backed foam insulation from Celotex, 
    Kingspan, Extratherm or similar.
  • Finishing: FSC approved MDF interior boards with Neatmatch damp resistant coating.

Our design team are on hand to turn your vision into a reality. Your ideas and sketches are transformed into a CAD drawing which is then perfected until you are 100% happy. The design is then sent to our factory where the cabin is created.

When you order your new Camping Cabin or Glamping Lodge, we will arrange a convenient delivery and installation schedule, with an affordable quote tailored to your needs. The cost of delivery and fitting depends on the size of your building, where you live, transportation distance and how many people you need to set up your new Camping Cabins building.

The final price is determined by the size of your Camping Cabin and the features you choose. We provide a comprehensive, transparent quote for each building, issued on an individual basis. Your quote will include design consultation, base, construction materials and labour.
