We use FSC-certified Western Red Cedar, Cedral Click Marley Board, or PEFC/FSC Scandinavian Redwood for the exterior cladding of our home bars, over BBA-certified breathable membranes. The walls are made from structural (C16) timber and fully insulated with KingspanTM boards.

The interior features FSC NeatmatchTM Moisture Resistant MDF, and the roof has a Firestone EPDM rubber membrane with black custom trims. Black uPVC guttering and downpipes are included as needed.

Advising You At Every Step

First, we will establish the size and style of the bar you want and create a 3D drawing. Next, we will visit your site to assess what you need to stand the home bar on. We will advise you on the best foundations and bases, as well as provide an estimate of the costs involved. Some customers prefer to provide their own base, while others choose for us to supply it.

In most cases, our garden bars fall within permitted development and do not require planning permission. However, we will guide you through any necessary rules. If you need planning permission, our architect, Ian Nelson, can provide information and handle the process with your local council.

Both of these options will require the same basic components such as seating, bar tops, and electrical fittings, but the project will vary in complexity depending on how you wish to serve and store your drinks, and how authentic you would like your garden pub shed to feel.

How to: Bottle Bar in Shed

The easiest option for a garden pub shed is to create a bottle bar. This type of bar only requires simple additions such as fridges, appropriate shelving, or even wall mounted optics for an authentic spirit-pouring experience.

 

In a bottle bar pub shed you can easily stock up on bottled beer and soft drinks, which can either be stored at room temperature or in fridges, and spirits that can be stored on shelves or wall-mounted optics. This will allow you to enjoy the feeling of a bar without the hassle of installing beer pumps for your garden bar or worrying about storing drinks at cellar-cold temperatures.

Creating a bottle bar may also help influence the overall design of your garden bar. For instance, modern bottle bars have a particular aesthetic that celebrates craft beers, independent spirit brands, and uses warm lighting with wooden bars and furniture for a ‘DIY’ look.

How to: Cask Bar in Shed

Creating a cask bar for ales in your shed is probably the easiest option if you want to enjoy beer straight from the barrel! By creating a shelving unit for your garden bar shed that is capable of holding a cask on its side, you can simply ‘tap’ your keg with a traditional cask ale beer tap to enjoy real ale straight from the cask, without the need to install any specific pumps or beer lines.

It is important to bear in mind that casks should be stored and served at ‘cellar temperature’, between 10-13oC, so you should consider installing a fridge or cool storage method capable of storing casks at this temperature.

Every component we use in our Cabin Master garden bars is guaranteed for quality and durability. Each Garden Bar comes with a 10-year workmanship and labour guarantee, plus the guarantees of each individual component or building material included. Below are some typical examples:

  • 1 year metalwork guarantee (including hinges, handles and ironmongery).
  • 10 year guarantee on UPVc doors.
  • 10 year guarantee on window frames.
  • 4 year guarantee on glass window units.
To build our garden bars and games rooms we make use of only the best raw materials and building components, and fully qualified local contractors.

  • Timber: Forest Stewardship Council Approved timber suppliers.
  • Roofing: For flat roofs we use high performance EPDM rubber roofing. For sloping roofs we use Kerbit SBS roofing shingles.
  • Doors & Windows: Double glazed, energy efficient uPVC doors and windows for peak energy efficiency.
  • Insulation: High quality silver-backed foam insulation from Celotex, Kingspan, Extratherm or similar.
  • Finishing: FSC approved MDF interior boards with Neatmatch damp resistant coating.

Our design team are on hand to turn your vision into a reality. Your ideas and sketches are transformed into a CAD drawing which is then perfected until you are 100% happy. The design is then sent to our factory where the cabin is created.

 

When you order your new Garden Bar or Entertainments Room, we will arrange a convenient delivery and installation schedule, with an affordable quote tailored to your needs. The cost of delivery and fitting depends on the size of your building, where you live, transportation distance and how many people you need to set up your new Cabin Master building.

 

The final price is determined by the size of your garden room and the features you choose. We provide a comprehensive, transparent quote for each garden room, issued on an individual basis. Your quote will include design consultation, base, construction materials and labour.
