The essentials

As every pro photographer knows, having the right environment is essential. Whether you're an aspiring photographer or a seasoned pro, creating a custom-built space in your garden is a great option. The natural sunlight in a garden photo studio is a huge advantage over using a spare room.

The convenience of a garden photo studio

You can set up an editing studio in your spare room, but if you offer family or newborn shoots, you'll need more space. With extra outdoor space, a garden studio is a better option—especially with rising living costs. Plus, the shortest commute gives you more time with loved ones.

Space to edit

Taking photos is just part of the job. You’ll also need space for editing, which a spare room may lack. With a garden room studio from Cabin Master, you can customise your space with partitions and separate work areas. Our pricing guide offers full transparency, and we provide competitive financing options so you can get the garden room of your dreams.

How Does A Photography Studio Add Value To Your Home?

A bespoke garden studio can make your home more attractive to potential buyers. Many people are interested in photography, and having a dedicated space for it can be a big selling point. It adds unique features that set your property apart and increases functionality. A home studio provides space for artistic pursuits, making it valuable for those working from home or with children interested in photography. It can also serve as a home office or creative space, boosting its appeal to buyers. Consider your options and the potential return on investment.

Bespoke and Luxury Home Photography Studio

Home Photo Studio

Creating a space that works for you is essential for a productive business. You need enough room for backdrop setups, props, and an area where clients can sit while you change setups, ensuring a top-notch experience.

You can also include a small WC, editing room, or storage space with additional partitions and doors. Cabin Master can help you design the perfect home studio that ticks all the boxes, right in your own garden!

IPS area

In-Person Sales (IPS) plays a huge role in a portrait photographer's business. Having a dedicated space to show families their precious images is essential for sales, and a designated area to view prints with clients is ideal.

All Cabin Master garden studios come with internal electrics as standard. You can choose the locations for power points to ensure you have enough for all your equipment, including your PC, camera charger, lighting, monitors, and TV.

Extra Head Height

Ensuring you have the necessary height allowance is crucial.

As we design and manufacture all our buildings to order, we can create your photography studio with an extra-high roof. This allows you to position backdrops well above your clients' heads, reducing the need for extra cloning during editing.

Ample storage for props, lighting, umbrellas, and taller units for blankets and posing bowls is key to keeping floor space available and organized, making your studio more efficient.

Home comforts

Cabin Master outdoor rooms are fully insulated and double-glazed, making them as safe and sturdy as your home. With click-lock flooring, internal painting, VAT, and installation included in the price, there are no surprise hidden costs!

Our team is happy to show you around our show sites in the Midlands, where over 30 stunning buildings are on display. We can arrange a free site survey to discuss options and ideas for your garden.

Generally, our garden studios take 2-4 days to install (size dependent) by our expert team of specialist fitters. All you need to do is move in and make your photo editing studio your own!

Roof
Choose a taller roof height to enable you to have more space for backdrops being positioned higher. Less cloning needed!
Windows & Doors
You choose the location of doors and windows. This is to enable you to create a space that works best for your style of Photography.
Flooring
High quality click lock flooring in a choice of colours.
Hardboard Lining
Our internal hardboard lining is much stronger and more durable than plasterboard.
Cladding
Superior quality cladding - Cedar, Redwood, or maintenance free Marley Board.

Every component we use in our Cabin Master garden rooms is guaranteed for quality and durability. Each building comes with a 10-year workmanship and labour guarantee, plus the guarantees of each individual component or building material included. Below are some typical examples:

  • 10 year guarantee on building materials.
  • 1 year metalwork guarantee (including hinges, handles and ironmongery).
  • 5 to 20 year guarantee on UPVc doors.
  • 10 year guarantee on window frames.
  • 4 year guarantee on glass window units.

To build our garden rooms we make use of only the best raw materials and building components, and fully qualified local contractors.

  • Timber: Forest Stewardship Council Approved timber suppliers.
  • Roofing: For flat roofs we use high performance EPDM rubber roofing. For sloping roofs we use Kerbit SBS roofing shingles.
  • Doors & Windows: Double glazed, energy efficient uPVC doors and windows for peak energy efficiency.
  • Insulation: High quality silver-backed foam insulation from Celotex, Kingspan, Extratherm or similar.
  • Finishing: FSC approved MDF interior boards with Neatmatch damp resistant coating.

Our design team are on hand to turn your vision into a reality. Your ideas and sketches are transformed into a CAD drawing which is then perfected until you are 100% happy. The design is then sent to our factory where the cabin is created.

When you order your new Garden Room, we will arrange a convenient delivery and installation schedule, with an affordable quote tailored to your needs. The cost of delivery and fitting depends on the size of your building, where you live, transportation distance and how many people you need to set up your Garden Room.

The final price is determined by the size of your garden room and the features you choose. We provide a comprehensive, transparent quote for each garden room, issued on an individual basis. Your quote will include design consultation, base, construction materials and labour.
